www.akban.org/wiki/Choosing_the_Right_Knife_for_Home_Self-Defense Family Defense and Security, FDS, is a practical paradigm that was created at AKBAN and exceeds the narrow field of personal self-defense. Family security and defense is a specialization of the Human security field and was the result of analysis of past and future scenarios where individuals protect their family.

    It might or might not break the neck. It's possible you'd only get a bad case of whiplash, or a neck injury. Breaking the neck is not as easy as most people think.

    How thick is that rope? I have various thicknesses up to an inch which is devastating, but I wonder how a quarter inch width with some weight on the end will do. Enjoy all your content 💙🇮🇱

      🤝thank you You can get the answer to possible Kusari materials, lengths thickness (and much more) here: www.akban.org/wiki/Kusari_fundo,_short_combat_chain_-_Ninjutsu But if you don’t want to immerse yourself the answer is that using a thinner Kusari would force a heavier weight.

    I have practiced submission wrestling for 18 years. I can see how this would work with the opponents hand around your head/neck from some distance as long as he is not white knuckling it - or at the moment of his relaxation- , if you float the first hand up and bait as if you are trying to push away his grabbing hand, and then committing to the lock.

    This is cool. I have a question why do most of the online taijutsu videos demonstrating technique show a kind of swooping punch towards the sensei, instead of a boxing jab?

    • @AkbanOrg
      @AkbanOrg Місяць тому

      1. The long punch is just so much easier to practice with. It’s hard to start practicing many stepping drills against a short, speedy strikes. 2. It’s a punch that is often useful when the user carries a big load or has a combat armor.
